A good General Knowledge question is one that everyone should know the answer to, but still has to be challenging! Many of these questions often have an answer which isn't obvious or will take a bit of working out. The General Knowledge round is a great way to start a quiz all contestants can get involved even if their strengths in other topics.

When running a quiz, there are certain topics that won't fit into any of the regular categories. This is where we use the General Knowledge round as a place to ask those questions.
